It’s Not Just About the Light
Clients often come to us searching for a new lighting design for their homes. The first thing we do is ask about their vision. We ask about their dream home. We listen to what they like about their current lighting systems and what’s not working. And then we bring our years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining premium home lighting systems to not only match but exceed the dreams of our clients.
When designing a home lighting control system, we take into account control platforms, smart home integrations, intelligent lighting controls and fixtures, and more. We design systems that illuminate our clients’ interior and exterior spaces. And we ensure the systems are intuitive, easy to use, and easy to modify and update for our clients’ preferences. We work with contractors and our in-house team to design and install the system that will give our clients the most mobility and freedom to modify their home lighting schemes per their preference, which can change with the seasons and their family’s needs.
We learn our clients’ personal home design aesthetic and how lighting can best accentuate their unique style and taste, from lighting schemes to fixtures and controls.
We prioritize health and wellness, and educate our clients on how human-centric lighting can adjust to their natural circadian rhythms to promote health, well-being, and relaxation.
Residential lighting systems like Lutron provide the widest array of versatility and control to meet our clients’ needs. Lutron’s new Ketra D2 and Rania D2 downlights are just two of the company’s latest innovations with 2-inch aperture downlights that blend right into a ceiling and provide outstanding, adaptable lighting that can enhance artwork, architecture, and even fabric textures. These downlights can change throughout the day and evening per the home owner’s preferences and needs.
Integration of lighting systems is key, especially with energy, climate, and security systems. That’s why we integrate our lighting systems with home automation platforms like Savant. Lighting and shading techniques can be integrated to best utilize natural elements of light and temperature and lower energy costs. Our lighting systems can be programmed for a natural “at-home” sequence when our clients are away and triggered to respond to movement in the moment. These motion detectors also can be crucial in the case of an important delivery or a water leak. Our systems alert our clients to changes in their homes in real-time and allow for immediate changes with a single intuitive app from anywhere in the world.
