'Tis the Time for Cool New TVs
We love this time of year, when our favorite smart tech companies gear up to introduce new innovations and products at the annual CEDIA conference. This week, Samsung announced two exciting new developments. We are so super-amped to bring these opportunities to our clients – especially those who love gaming and Disney.
The Frame-Disney100 Edition is Samsung’s limited-edition premium television designed to commemorate Disney’s 100th anniversary. A special offering of Samsung’s popular The Frame model, it offers 4K QLED picture quality in 55, 65 and 75-inch class models and a remote inspired by Mickey Mouse.
The Frame is renowned for its ability to display works of art when the television is not in use – and this special model comes with 100 special pieces of art from the Disney collection. This is a feature Disney fans will love, as The Frame can display art per your choosing when you’re not watching television. You can curate your own personal art gallery with images from Walt Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and National Geographic. And more: you have access to the entire Samsung Art Store, which has beautiful art from top museums all over the world (the Louvre, the Tate, and more).
For our gaming clients (and there are a lot of you):
The Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub is the first portable projector with built-in cloud gaming in the world. It works with a Bluetooth controller and can make any surface into a screen up to 100 inches. The portable projector also provides access to movies, shows, and other content. There’s nothing else quite like it; it takes all the streaming entertainment of a Samsung TV and gives access to more than 3,000 games from streaming partners. It projects 30 to 100 inches of clear images in Full HD at 1080×1920 resolution. Its cradle stand can tilt 180 degrees for floor-to-ceiling viewing flexibility. And because sound is so important, it gives 360-degree sound for an immersive audio experience.
It's made to move. It’s compact and weighs less than two pounds. It can connect with a personal portable battery, so now outlet is needed. For use on-the-go, you can even connect The Freestyle with your personal portable battery – no outlet required. And it comes with the Samsung SolarCell Remote, which uses a solar panel to charge.
The Freestyle 2nd Gen with Gaming Hub brings high-definition big screen entertainment to absolutely any location – from a room’s ceiling to the great outdoors.
