We’ve been big supporters of their ingenuity and products ever since. And not just because they’re global innovators – have you heard their sound quality?

This month, Sonos introduces two new smart speakers: the Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100. These smart speakers are a whole new page in smart technology sound and design, and they’re available now. We are super-excited to be able to offer them to clients and tell you more about them here.

Era 300 is all about out loud spatial audio with Dolby Atmos. There’s no other single compact speaker like it. It uses a really beautiful hourglass design to support the acoustic architecture of six powerful drivers that direct sound left, right, forward and upward. This disperses and directs the many layers of sound strategically around you the listener. The sounds wrap you right up in a cocoon of audio delight.

For you home theater lovers: Era 300 is Sonos’ first speaker to deliver multi-channel surround sound when it’s integrated into home theater rear positions. We can pair two speakers with Arc or Beam (Gen 2) to create an amazing sound experience in your home theater. We love it when our clients tell us how their favorite movies have been transformed to the next evolution by this kind of sound quality.

Another great aspect of the development process: Sonos innovators collaborated closely with music industry experts – including musicians and artists – to finesse the Era 300 so that it most closely matches the artists’ and producers’ intentions. Again, this changes the entire game for music lovers, taking their favorite music and playing it in a form truer to the creator’s intent.

On a smaller scale, the new Sonos Era 100 is the next evolution of the company’s original, best-selling Sonos One, first released in 2017. Sonos calls the Era 100 “small but mighty.” The single, compact speaker fits on a bookshelf or a desk. It uses two angled tweeters to send frequencies left and right for a true stereo experience, plus a midwoofer to provide solid bass. It can be used as a powerful standalone in any room. It also opens up some great home theater options. Two Era 100 speakers can be paired as rear speakers with a soundbar to create a total surround sound theater system.
