Intuitive use and outstanding design
Smart home technology should be intuitive, easy to use, and make your home life more comfortable, secure, and fun.
As smart home automation experts, we know our clients want technology with outstanding design elements. So we are super-excited to share that Snap One, one of our favorite smart home platform companies, has introduced new products uniting top shelf design with intuitive tools to make your home life easier, more secure, and more enjoyable.
According to Snap One CEO John Heyman, it’s only the halfway point in a 1,000-mile journey for the smart technology company, which already offers more than 50 integrated brands in the A/V, security, and remote management fields.
One of the reasons we like the company so much is because it was built by integrators – like us. They had worked firsthand with clients like ours, and understood the needs and challenges of making smart home tech seamless, intuitive, and more comfortable for daily living. They are devoted to building better products and platforms that we, as integrators, offer our clients.
The company emphasizes product development, including investing heavily to maintain the supply chain in recent years. They put their money and time toward engineering, components, and working against inflating and price increases – a big win for our clients.
The results are evident. Snap One is always on the forefront of new tech. Last year about this time Snap One announced some exciting tech developments on its main platform and audio-video fronts. Now, it’s introducing Halo, new family of Control4 remotes with outstanding design, streamlined use, and even more features make our clients’ home automation platforms more intuitive and better controlled.
Halo remotes include features like backlit buttons, voice-control, WiFi 2.4 and 5GHz support, and updates for the Watch, Listen, and Lights experiences. It’s basic unit, with a full-color 2.8” non-touch LCD screen provides a graphical display of devices, media, favorites, automations, and menu options that are selected from, and controlled by, the complete set of hard, backlit buttons. Halo Touch is a full-color 3.2” LCD screen with a touch interface to select and control of devices, media, favorites, automations, and menu options. Both use a brushed aluminum chassis for a classic, top shelf experience.
