A whole new kitchen aesthetic
We’re founded on our passion for audio video, it’s true. We think the home theater may be just about the most important room in the house. But…we also have a whole lot of clients who value those other two vital rooms in the home: the kitchen and bathroom.
And yes, we value those rooms, too – so naturally, we get really excited about new technology that makes our clients’ smart kitchens and bathrooms even smarter.
By that we mean streamlined and personal, better for the unique home ecosystem and our shared global ecosystem.
Our clients value comfort and sustainability – and so do our favorite companies.
At this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, one of our favorite AV companies – Samsung – unveiled new tech innovations we can’t wait to bring our clients.
In 2021 the global company introduced Bespoke appliances into the U.S. market. The line of refrigerators, washers, dryers, microwaves, ranges and other appliances became popular for their variety of color and customization options. The colors, materials, and design appeal to our clients because they are high quality smart appliances with a high-end, unique aesthetic to fit the homeowner's specific preferences. The line has expanded to include full kitchen packages, plus laundry and floor care.
This year, Samsung introduced built-in cooking customization and even more refrigerator models. The new appliances not only emphasize design and owner preference, they prioritize energy savings and connectivity with other SmartThings’ appliances.
At the Kitchen and Bath Show, Samsung showed sustainability as an important value throughout production, distribution, use, and disposal of the appliances. The company’s SmartThings Energy service gives our clients valuable information about their energy use and suggestions to help save power. The product line features an intuitive AI Energy Mode that automatically optimizes settings to reduce the amount of energy consumed by the connected Samsung appliances – a feature our clients value. This energy savings includes up to 15% savings for compatible refrigerators, up to 20% for compatible air conditioners, and up to 35% for compatible washers on select cycles.
At the show, Samsung also introduced its new Less Microfiber Cycle and Filter. The cycle reduces microplastic emissions during laundry by up to 54%. It’s currently available in Europe, and will be coming to the United States soon.
All these new possibilities might convince us the kitchen is more important as the home theater ... one day.
