The technology to produce it is accessible and inexpensive, even for the average YouTube influencer. Netflix, the leading streamer, has produced a few 8K shows.

And sports fans. The first 8K broadcast was the 2020 Olympic games in Japan. Can you imagine immersing yourself close and up-front in a game in a totally crisp, clear image on a 65” screen?
