Calling all “Technicureans”
A lot of us have been cooking at home for the past two years. We’ve learned so much more about what we’d like to use in our kitchens. And smart technology companies are delivering.
If you’re a “Technicurean” looking for cutting-edge smart technology to boost your kitchen artistry, you’re in luck – because the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show has just brought out a number of new smart home products bound to inspire your senses and sensibilities.
Every year we’re excited to see the new smart home products unveiled at the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. For integrators like us, it gives us a whole new menu of items that can improve the comfort, safety, and joy our clients find in their homes.
This year, LG released some exciting news and demonstrations of products that are bound to become favorites among our Technicurean clients. LG’s new releases prioritize health and energy savings in smart homes – top requests among smart home owners.
LG’s luxury kitchen appliance brand, its Signature Kitchen Suite, gives our clients the industry’s best built-in luxury appliances with the cutting-edge kitchen technology. This year, LG presented its beautiful new 48-inch French door refrigerator. It features an innovative convertible drawer that has five preset temperatures ranging from 41⁰F to -6⁰F. Which means more precision and control to the chef. LG also introduced ThinQ Care, a customer care service that alerts you about potential problems to your smart appliances before they occur (such a great part of smart technology). It also offers useful maintenance tips to keep the appliances performing at optimum levels.
Other noteworthy LG 2022 kitchen products include its redesigned InstaView side-by-side refrigerators. These are a favorite because they include a water dispenser that incorporates LG’s UVnano sanitizing technology. LG also unveiled new Energy Star laundry appliances at the show. LG offers a new washer and dryer featuring Artificial Intelligence DD (that’s right – AI for your laundry!). LG also showed a new WashTower with dual inverter heat pump technology to reduce energy consumption. As energy savings is a top priority of our clients, we’re super excited to see this new option for laundry.
No surprise – LG’s appliances received accolades and awards at this year’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. The new 48-inch French-door refrigerator received the highly coveted Gold “Best of KBIS” Award and the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s “30s Choice Award.” Its PuriCare Aero Tower air purifying fan received the Best of KBIS Gold Award in the Connected Home category. LG’s Signature Kitchen Suite was chosen as the “Brand with the Biggest Bite” at this year’s DesignBites program. The award is given for the brand with the best combination of product innovation and presentation at the annual KBIS NeXT Stage DesignBites event.
