Premium audio in outdoor spaces
We’re spending a lot more time outdoors.
Over the past decade, we’ve seen many of our clients want to move their home entertainment areas outdoors. They’ve wanted more complex outdoor lighting options and better entertainment systems that can withstand the outdoor conditions.
Now it seems our clients have been ahead of the curve. With the pandemic, the whole country seems to have caught up with the idea that outdoor entertainment can go way beyond the campfire. Want your favorite music outside, with multifaceted sound? How about a home theater with outstanding visuals and audio? Or ambient lighting to fit the mood – whether it’s date night on the patio or a large party?
We can do all of it.
Today, let’s talk about sound.
One of our favorite high-end audio lines, Sonance, has expanded its outdoor (and indoor) audio possibilities.
In the custom integration industry, Sonance is among the best of the best for their audio solutions. Active since the 1980s, the company has expanded its custom-channel offerings so that we, as home automation experts, can provide you with even more extensive home audio options.
Their “Beyond Sound” vision has guided new product development and its opportunities for integration in your home. Three pillars steer this new, innovative “Beyond Sound” vision.
“We went through an exercise to kind of distill the Sonance brand down and make sure that we understood exactly what our beliefs were, and how they encompass all the brands that we do,” Sonance CEO Ari Supran said.
The first pillar can be described as “Design to Disappear,” so that technology is hidden in architecture and landscaping. “It’s really the DNA of the company,” said Supran. “So it’s true, it’s authentic.”
“Authentic” is the second pillar – meaning authentic relationships with clients and integrators. “We’re not just selling products … but we really try to partner, we challenge each other, we try to teach …” said Supran.
The third pillar is Sonance’s heritage of innovation and pioneering audio categories.
For the premium outdoor experience, Sonance acquired specialty loudspeaker manufacturer James Loudspeaker to deliver a high level of custom production to complement the company’s design-minded architectural and landscape offerings. The new “Invisible” series, and the James outdoor models, provide clients with even more high-end sound experience for outdoor living spaces.
The Sonance Landscape Series offer top performance speakers and subwoofers. Designed and engineered for ultimate performance in any outdoor space, this series will completely change how you live outdoors, no matter how big the area.
The Sonance Garden Series uses design elements from the Landscape Series to create a smaller scale system perfect for outdoor areas up to 3,500 square feet, balancing performance and simplicity in an outdoor audio system.
The Sonance Patio Series covers up to 1,000 square feet, perfect for fire-pits, small patios, or hot tub areas.
