We're Geeking Out
We’re going to geek out for just a minute, but stay with us: It’s worth it.
If you’ve watched The Mandalorian, the Star Wars series on Disney+, you know one of the best parts of that series (and there are a ton of great things about that series) is the music.
If you know the series, you’re humming right now.
If you don’t know, just Google it. You don’t have to even like Star Wars to recognize amazing music. Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson’s score for the show is unbelievably good.
Now here’s the geek-out part: Season two of The Mandalorian releases October 30th. To celebrate, Disney+ has teamed up with Sonos, one of our favorite sound companies here at Jackson Hole A/V, to offer amazing an incredible sound deal. With the purchase of the Sonos Arc or Beam, or qualifying speaker set, you get six months of the home streaming channel Disney+. And more: Göransson will have his own personally-curated radio station only available on Sonos Radio.
Sonos is a global leader in home audio sound technology. They invented the multi-room wireless home audio system, and made it super-intuitive for clients to use. The Arc is their premium smart soundbar with cinematic sound for your home theater. The Beam is their smart, compact soundbar for high-definition sound.
Disney+ streams home entertainment from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. “High-quality sound is integral to the Star Wars experience,” said Matthew Wood, supervising sound editor at Skywalker Sound and the award-winning co-supervising sound editor for The Mandalorian, in an official statement. “The Mandalorian, now heading into season two, extends that legacy with a carefully crafted balance of the series' powerful score, immersive sound effects, and clear dialogue to guide fans into new worlds.”
With the Sonos technology, not only do we get Göransson’s extraordinary score, we get to completely immerse ourselves in all the fantastic Star Wars sound at earth-shattering quality.
You’ll also get Göransson’s personally curated station on Sonos Radio. On the station, this renowned composer will share The Mandalorian music alongside music that has inspired and invigorated him.
Sonos Radio includes a long list of artist collections from musicians including David Byrne, Brandi Carlile, Third Man Records, and more. Clients can access the station on Sonos Radio in the Sonos app starting October 30th, along with The Mandalorian’s second season premiere on Disney+.
