Home Theater Visuals – for Every Room
With “The Wall Luxury,” Samsung recently launched the next level in home theater. The next development from its highly successful “The Wall,” The Wall Luxury’s modular microLED technology, coupled with its unique emphasis on style and design, make it a top choice for elite smart home owners wanting the cutting edge technology with the finest design aesthetic.
At this year’s CEDIA expo, Samsung highlighted The Wall Luxury for elite clientele in their TechTalk, “Luxury Living: How Samsung Display Technology Delivers on Design.”
Smart home owners who want the best tech available will geek out over the fact that the microLEDs make The Wall Luxury self-illuminating, using backlight and filters to shine light at the viewers. MicroLED – an innovative new display technology – employs individual LEDs to create a picture. (In contrast to existing TVs which use LEDs to create light from behind an LCD layer.) The black areas of the image don’t emit any light, making them completely black. This technology creates high contrast, bright colors, and deep blacks, reports CePro writer Arlen Schweiger, in his recap of Samsung’s presentation.
Because of its unique modular design, your integrator can custom make a wide range of sizes to perfectly fit your room’s specifications. The Wall Luxury can even go up to 292 inches with 64 modules, and up to 8K resolution. Modules can be arranged in a variety of sizes and shapes, and are front serviceable, making for easier access, updates, and repairs.
The Wall Luxury has a built-in 8K AI scaler, providing the technology and processing capabilities to create out-of-this-world picture quality.
Home owners operate The Wall Luxury with an intuitive remote control that accesses all of the device’s functionalities and apps. It also supports Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2.
This new luxury television also offers some strong advantages over projection. Its technology makes the images clear and visible even in the most brightly-lit rooms. Ambient light can lead to a very washed-out look, according to John Shim, senior engineering manager of Samsung’s North America Display Office, reports Schweiger. But the LEDs of The Wall Luxury provide enough brightness and contrast to create a stunning visual effect, even in well-lit rooms. The self-illumination and individually controlled pixels make deep black levels. And the LEDs do not use fans, eliminating that extra unnecessary noise.
The Wall Luxury is rated for 100,000 hours of use, and can achieve a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
