Good news for Savant home automation clients: Innovative enhancements to “Studio,” Savant’s quick configuration and design tool, make it easier than ever for you and your integrator to manage your smart home systems.

Savant, a global leader in smart home automation, employs cutting-edge Pro technology to manage a home’s climate, lighting, entertainment, and energy in a single application. With these innovative enhancements to “Studio,” their award-winning iPad-based Quick Configuration/Design Tool, smart home integrators like Jackson Hole A/V have improved access and portability to better oversee and manage your Savant home automation platform.

So what does this mean for you and your home? The new “Smart Behaviors Editor” allows integrators the ability to design and make unique workflows to improve configuration efficiency. This means more integrated, automated systems for improved efficiency and comfort, better aligned with you and your family’s specific needs. For example, integrators can program your home to create an audible and/or visible alert when someone presses your doorbell. A motorized lift could automatically raise or lower when the TV is turned on or off.

Because Studio works with Savant’s cloud-based central management portal, your unique Savant Scenes, Savant Pro App photos, and other configurations are all stored in the cloud for quick, effortless access.

Studio also allows integrators to make a secure, wireless connection to your home’s Savant Pro Remote and other wireless devices without accessing your home’s Wi-Fi network – making it easier for your integrator to manage updates and other issues with less intrusion for you. The updated Savant Studio also adds more third party device integrations, such as door locks and IP control of Samsung displays requiring an encrypted registration process, among others.

The updated Studio “Alert Center” lets your integrator know about items necessary for system functioning, like entering IDs for devices or connections, which streamline the process of installation and could prevent future hassles with your A/V system.
